We greet you with Jesus' joy and hallelujah praise!
I pray that you and yours, along with your church family are well. And that you have began 2025 with a joy that the world has given you and can't take away.
It is prophetic that we began establishing our churches as community hubs in 2024. The LORD knew we would need to position ourselves for what lies ahead. With what is happening in our world and our country, we will need as many partners and stakeholders to help us to help each other. Many people will be, as #47 said, going to feel, “some pain”. Our community is going to be hurt for a while, as changes are made in social services and government support. But as always, the LORD will be with us and on our side.
Trumpeconomics will make it clear, why being a Kingdom Plug is so essential and it will enable us to see why being a community hub will be so important and greatly needed.
To maintain the necessary emphasis and focus required to stay on course, we have decided to have each church (or cluster if necessary) to select a Kingdom Plug (KP) Coordinator. A job description has been prepared (see below) to outline what that person will be responsible for and some characteristics that the KP Coordinator should possess. I am asking every church to have their Kingdom Plug Coordinator selected by February 18th (before Founders Day). If you have any questions or need more information, please feel free to contact me or any member of the KP Team.
Also, the KP Team has provided information on how to keep moving forward in developing your community hub. (Click Here) Please share it with those persons who will be on your church’s KP Team. Be sure to help your congregation understand what a Kingdom Plug is and why it is so necessary.
We will be tentatively gathering in person at Bethel Cambridge at 10:00 am on March 15th. More information will follow.
Rev. Patricia and I will be looking forward to seeing everybody
at Founders Day and on March 15th.
Believing, Being, & Becoming More for Christ!
Presiding Elder Johnny & Rev. Patricia Calhoun
